There is an abundance of natural plant medicine all around us: from your backyard to the backcountry. Learn to identify some of these useful medicinal plants you might find in Central Oregon on a plant walk in the morning.
After our plant walk, we will work together to process some plants and turn them into medicine and personal care products, such as salves, tinctures, teas, and syrups.
Over the course of the day, we will learn to identify local medicinal plants, how to harvest safely, ethically, and sustainably, how to make our own medicines safely, and take some medicines home with us.
